Dates: November 23 - December 5, 2024 (2 weeks)
Focus: Form teams, combine research, complete Insight & Hypothesis quadrants
Team Formation (Nov 23-25)
Team Requirements
- Maximum 5 members per team
- Members with overlapping problem interests
- Diverse skill sets (research, design, tech, community engagement)
- Must register as official team by Nov 25
How to Form Teams
- Connect with participants who researched similar problems
- Review each other’s Ground Truth findings
- Combine voice notes and research data
- Agree on one problem area to focus on
- Register team name with Next Trend Hub
Quadrant 2: Formulate Insight (Nov 23 - Nov 29)
Team Activity: Analyze combined research data
Tasks
- Pool all voice notes and interview data
- Identify recurring themes and patterns
- Conduct root cause analysis
- Determine “superior interests” (what the community really needs)
- Document insights on team page
Deliverable: Complete /team/[your-team]/formulate-insight page
Quadrant 3: Formulate Hypothesis (Nov 30 - Dec 5)
Team Activity: Write clear problem statement
Tasks
- Draft hypothesis in format: “We believe that [target audience] experiences [problem] because [root cause]. If we [proposed solution approach], then [expected outcome].”
- Define success criteria
- Identify assumptions to test
- Get mentor feedback during check-ins
- Document hypothesis on team page
Deliverable: Complete /team/[your-team]/formulate-hypothesis page

- Wednesday 6:00 PM WAT - Team progress updates
- Saturday 1:00 PM WAT - Problem-solving sessions
Now reporting as teams, not individuals.
